Who we are
Naravel is an independent publisher in Sweden. Contact for anything about your data: [email protected].
What we collect, and why
- Your email address, and your name if you give it, to send the Daily Brief you asked for. The legal basis is your consent; unsubscribe from any email, or write to us, to withdraw it.
- Which list you joined (the Daily Brief, the personal-brief list or the team list), the date, and the page you signed up from, so we know what you asked for and which pages work.
- Emails you send us, to answer them.
We don’t track whether you open our emails or which links you click, we run no advertising trackers, and we never sell or share your data for marketing.
Cookies
If you sign in, Ghost (our publishing software) sets a cookie that keeps you signed in. Your light or dark theme choice is stored in your browser. Neither is used to track you.
Where your data is
Naravel and its database run on our own server in Sweden. These services process data for us under their data processing terms:
- Cloudflare: delivers and protects the website.
- Mailgun (EU region): sends the Daily Brief.
- Brevo: sends sign-in emails.
- Stripe: would handle payment if you buy a paid plan; none is on sale today.
Where a service processes data outside the EU, it does so under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe and ask us to delete it, or until we stop publishing. Our server’s request logs record which page was requested and when, not who you are.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it: write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
