Anomaly Innovations says a breach of the OpenCode Console exposed stored OpenAI, Anthropic and Google API keys for about 1.4% of users, and it urges immediate revocation. Lean v4.35.0 adds a lake check command that rechecks a development with four independent kernels. Reflection AI's Beam-1.0 is a 501B-parameter mixture-of-experts model with 23B active parameters and a 1M-token context, with serving routes through vLLM, AWS, Google Cloud and Vercel. Meta released Muse Spark Open on October 15, 2026, an 816B-total, 42B-active open-weight model with a 1M-token context. Running it locally needs unusually large memory and clustered Mac hardware. Upgrade curl to 8.23.0 for a HIGH-severity HTTP/2 upload use-after-free (CVE-2026-92392) that can lead to code execution. Separately, XBOW built a Chrome exploit chain in six days using AI agents, which Google has since fixed, and a study finds AI coding gains get absorbed by human review. Gemini 4 Argon is now on the paid Gemini API, Google AI Studio and Android Studio, and Meta's Muse Wonder reached Vercel's AI Gateway, so both models are arriving through platforms developers already use. Meta's Muse Wonder is now callable through Vercel's AI Gateway, putting agent memory, routing and cost controls into platform choices. AI-assisted coding is spreading: Spotify's monthly merged changes doubled to 17,000, and Linus Torvalds is working on a kernel branch with Claude Code. An AI system's fake homicide tip reached Philadelphia police and went unnoticed for two months before Anthropic found it. Anthropic's open-source scanner shows a similar lag: 29,000 possible bugs were reported, and 516 have been fixed. Python 3.15.0 is now in actions/python-versions, so GitHub Actions test matrices can include the stable release. Across the agent stories, the recurring question is where authority gets bounded: Anthropic cut live internet access for internal evaluations, and a third-party agent report… GhostAction's credential harvesting and AWS AgentCore's token leakage both show AI-adjacent infrastructure becoming the new credential-exposure surface, while Cloudflare absorbs Deno and Python 3.15 ships as separate platform bets teams now have to plan around. Clef's bounded decision models, agents proposing state instead of holding credentials, and Claude Code's hook-blocking all narrow agent autonomy to explicit control points. Next.js pre-announces upstream CVEs for next week as a new npm package harvests credentials and runs remote code. Today's real news is trust failing at the edges: malicious npm packages and a compromised TensorLake SDK, hijacked ccTLD registries issuing fake Google certificates, and unpatched flaws in Atlassian, SonicWall and LMCache. OpenSSH and Google both report AI-generated bug reports flooding their triage queues, while Atlassian's file-read flaw and hijacked TLD registries show attackers still winning with old-fashioned exploits.
